Founder's Story

I came to Japan in 1995 on a business trip and was so impressed by the society and the high standards that I resolved to one day move here and absorb as much of the culture as I could.

At first it was very challenging as I did not know anyone and knew almost no Japanese language, so I worked as a private English teacher while I began to find my way, and later became the importer of the very products I had originally came here to introduce.

As the business grew and formal distribution became necessary I joined the new importer as a salaryman and soon began to support many other business areas – that gave me the foundation and the network to find stability and build a life in Japan.

Since that time I have rarely returned to my home country and have absorbed the culture as I had intended, allowing me to grow beyond my expectations.

I feel privileged to be able to live in Japan and want to “give back” and share the benefits and prosperity by helping customers from around the world find the products they want in Japan.
